I wanted to sleep in today, have a rest day. Mac said no. I fed him, gave him treats, he still came back to harass me out of bed all morning. Life is hard lol

Update on yoga with Mac: apparently this is now a toy

When I practice yoga I put a cushion out for Mac and he will lie there and watch me for ages he’s so sweet. As soon as I get the mat out he knows what time it is.

Bottom of the fridge vegetable soup with falafel and red pepper hummus. Nice and warming after a rainy day.

Remembering being in Japan 5 years ago and hearing the town siren go off to commemorate 5 years since 3/11. The teacher explained to the 6th graders what had happened and we had a moment of silence. Hoping that my former students are doing well and are happy.
